Rexnord Viva V series Element V170 Closed-Coupled Element
The element is the flexible component of the Viva V170 coupling, complete with mounting shoes and installation hardware. It is designed to transmit torque while accommodating misalignment in industrial applications.
This elastomeric coupling requires low maintenance and does not need lubrication. The flexible polymer element effectively compensates for misalignment, while the two-piece design allows for quick and easy replacement without removing hubs, shafts, or connected equipment.
Made from polyurethane, the element helps absorb vibration and shock, making it suitable for a wide range of applications such as centrifugal compressors, blowers, metal extruders, cooling towers, reciprocating pumps, and forced draft fans. It is also ATEX certified for safe use in hazardous environments.
One complete coupling consists of two hubs and one polymer element.
