OPTIBELT TT TENSION TESTER – Belt Tension Measuring Device
The OPTIBELT TT TENSION TESTER allows for easy measurement of tension in V-belts, ribbed belts, and timing power transmission belts. Simply switch on the device, aim the red dot at the belt from a short distance, and lightly flick the belt with your finger. The device detects the belt’s vibration and calculates the tension without interference from external noise. Results are quickly displayed on the color LCD screen.
The measured values are shown in hertz (Hz), and proper tension can be referenced using Optibelt’s free CAP drive calculation software. The type, condition, and color of the belt do not affect the readings. Tension recommendations can be taken from Optibelt specifications and CAP calculations.
